Tomorrow noon (May 8) the boss of Microsoft, Bill Gates, will come to Indonesia with a private jet. He’ll attend The Asian Government Leaders Forum 2008 (GLF 2008) in Jakarta. He’s scheduled to be the closing speaker at GLF 2008 on Friday (May 9). GLF will be attended by about 250’s delegations from Asia-Pacific Nations. A day before the forum, Bill Gates will meet President of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at Presidential Lecture to discuss about Microsoft’s invests in Indonesia. One of them is the use of proprietary softwares in state departments.

Although Indonesian Minister of Information and Communication, Mohammad Nuh, made clear that Bill Gates’ coming has nothing to with war against open source and software piracy, it’s still a bad news for many internet doers. Mostly for free blogger and pirated softwares user like me. Read more »

Sate Kambing Pak Doel

I love sate kambing or in English, may be, lamb sate. For those who don’t know sate yet, sate is set of lamb slices sticked together with a splintered rib. Some people believe that lamb could increase libido. It’s only suggestion though, you believe it then you will.

I’ve tried sate kambing at many places, some good some not. Of all of them, there’s one place I’m going to remember all time because it was the place where I got my first addiction to sate kambing. It was a small restaurant in Magelang, Sate Kambing Pak Doel. I don’t know any story of this place. I just know this place has a good lamb foods. If you go to Magelang, try this place. It’s on Veteran Street. From distric military post, head to Pemuda Street and then turn right before Gardena and city square. Read more »

Pregnant Horse Passed Away on Malioboro Street

I just read a sad news on detikcom about a pregnant horse passed away, I don’t use ‘died’ to respect this animal, at May 1 noon on Malioboro Street in front of Ramayana Department Store, Yogyakarta. That horse was in 7 month pregnancy but she was still used to pull the cart. Before she passed away, she was pulling the cart with tourists on it wandering the city for hours. Became too tired, she felt on the road and never waked again.

Started from today on until Sunday are long weekend holidays. As a travel destination, Malioboro Street is crowded of tourists. May be the coachman was too worry about losing money so he forced the horse to do the job. This was not right. Even animals need care and attention from us, humans. Read more »

Hooray… I Signed up for PPP

I’d like to share my happiness today to you all readers. My blog has been approved by payperpost (PPP). If you don’t know what PPP is, you shall try goggling it first on any search engine and I’m telling you; if you don’t want to know, you’ll miss one of greatest thing on internet.

PPP is one of my main reason when I decided to create a blog, expressing myself is the reason too off course, since when I was wandering around on the net, I read an article about money making and number one bloggers’ favorite was paid review/pay per post (PR/PPP). PR/PPP is a condition where you write about something on your blog, and you get paid. You will be paid by web sites, companies, organizations, etc which you have written about on your blog.

I love this PPP so much. They’re not only interest in making money but also interest in you-make-money. They have tech support ready 24/7, all humans. They have social networking forum which you can socialize with other bloggers. They have PPP University where you can improve your blogging skill. They also have PPP Direct where you can negotiate directly with advertisers.

Don’t take too much time wondering whether your blog is qualified or not. Let them decide it. As long as your blog has original contents, more than 30 days old and has at least 10 posts, go for it. I’m new to this but I’ve already met nice bloggers willing to share and giving tips. I’m learning to improve my skill and my income. I hope with money I’m going to earn, I can buy things for my family, invest on this blog so it will be more useful and I can help people around me. You can do it too if you join PPP.
